Booking and packages
Can I book lessons for my son or daughter?
Yes, plenty of parents book and pay for lessons. Just add the learner's name and mobile number to the booking so I can reach them on the day, along with the address you'd like me to pick them up from.
What if I can't find a time that suits me?
I teach Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and new times open up as the calendar moves forward. If nothing works, call or text me on 0429 304 538 and we'll sort something out.
Can I use package lessons for 60 or 120-minute lessons?
No. Both packages are made up of 90-minute lessons. If you'd like a shorter or longer lesson, book it as a single lesson.
How much do I save with a package?
Packages are 10% less than booking each lesson separately. The Confidence Bundle (five lessons) saves $75, and the Progress Bundle (ten lessons) saves $150. Both are valid for 12 months.
Lessons
What happens in my first lesson?
I will start with a quick chat about how much driving you have done and anything you are worried about. Then we will head somewhere quiet to get you comfortable with the car & controls, and finish with a few things to practise before next time. If you have already done some driving, we will pick up from where you are at.
What should I bring?
Your learner's permit (This is MUST - I need to see it before we can start your lesson!), comfortable flat shoes, and your glasses if you need them to drive. Bring your logbook too so I can sign off your lesson time.
Do you teach manual?
No, all my lessons are in an automatic Mazda 2 with dual controls.
Do lessons go ahead in bad weather?
Lessons can go ahead in the rain, and it's good practice to drive in the wet with an instructor beside you. If the weather is unsafe like too fogy or stormy, I will get in touch to move your lesson at no cost.
